SBI has recruited around 30,000 people recently despite the ongoing economic slowdown.
O P Bhatt, SBI chairman, said that the bank has recently recruited 30K people, of which few thousands are from Bihar and Jharkhand. He added that in last 2 years, bank has opened around 2000 branches in the country taking the total number to around 11500.
He also said the bank's loans covered the entire spectrum of activities from agriculture to small-scale industry to large industries to car loans to home loans etc.
