AIG: Bonus returned

Most of the leading bonus recipients from American International group, have have agreed to give back the bonus they have received.

AIG had paid on Mar 15, 2009 US $ 165 million as bonus to American as well as non-American employees. It is to be noted that the company is facing problems and is bailed out by American government. It is estimated that the American who were paid US $ 80 million, will be recouped.

Few senior executives have resigned from its Financial Products unit bringing the company to the brink of collapse. Though it is not clear that any of the executives with top bonuses had resigned. Hiding the number of executives who have resigned, the spokeswoman said, it is "Manageable".

How a bailed out company can give bonus to its employee?

Rajus are everywhere.
